About the Ketochi

cascade

The Ketochi is the official news site of Cascade Public Schools and a 2015-2016 SNO Distinguished Site.

In order to “go green” and to fall in line with the school’s recently passed technology levy, The Ketochi is now completely online.  Although there will no longer be a printed copy of The Ketochi available to Cascade Courier subscribers, it is available on multiple formats that make accessing it quick and easy.

For those who use social media regularly, The Ketochi can be liked on Facebook (www.facebook.com/TheKetochi) and followed on Twitter (@theketochi).  In addition, those who own any Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod) with iOS9 or above can access The Ketochi‘s content on the built-in Apple News app.  Simply perform a search for ‘The Ketochi’ and add our channel to your favorites.  Every time we update our site, the content is automatically uploaded to Apple News.

If social media and smartphones aren’t the preferred method, site visitors can enter their email addresses in the widget on the homepage and receive emails with links to new content.  In short, anyone with a computer and Internet access can easily keep up with all of the happenings at the school.

In March of 2017, The Ketochi will begin publishing a monthly magazine that will highlight current school news and keep the non-technological public updated on all of the happenings at our school.  The Ketochi Magazine will be available free of charge at several locations around Cascade, Ulm, Craig, and Wolf Creek.

The Ketochi is run entirely by adviser/editor Ashley Tait and his talented band of student writers, photographers, and social media experts.  For more information on any or all of The Ketochi‘s staff members, click on the ‘staff’ link above.
