The tournaments had a two-loss limit and the pressure was on as the Badgers first opponent was the Highwood-Geraldine Rivals. The Badgers played hard and fought through the whole match, but they could not pull out a win out of the three games played. The matches scores were 25-18, 25-23, and 25-12.

“These ladies played some very tough teams this season and held their own,” said first-year head coach Becca Cooper.  “We will miss our seniors, Kendra (Anderson), Mackenzie (Wombold), and Megan (Smith).  I’d like to thank them for making my first season as the head coach a memorable one.  I look forward to next season and being even more competitive.”

Cascade finished the season with a 5-12 record, and many memories were made during their journey. Now that volleyball is officially over the student-athletes have a new sport to prepare for. We wish them luck during their basketball season.
